The Aberdeen trio comes back with a rock single, supported by an angry video which depicts the band dismembering mannequin torsos, picturing the tune lyrics “I’ll be your man, I’ll be your mannequin”. These guys are angry, and they show the anger openly in the singer’s screaming style that tries to be louder than the hard-rock drums, and in the guitar powerful riffs. The band’s music harks back to the early days of 90’s Grunge, it has a brilliantly sinister, dirty and earthy quality without turning its back on the pop-sensibilities melodies, in fact after the initial storm, the tune turns into a quiet, melancholic sound.
It’s a very interesting single, can’t wait to listen to the forthcoming album, produced by Mike Sapone.
