Today LA ladies The Like release their new Mark Ronson produced single ‘He’s Not A Boy’ through Polydor/Downtown. Described by The Guardian as “1960s perfection”, ‘He’s Not a Boy‘ is an unforgettably catchy hit, showing how far they’ve come since their 2006 debut album ‘Are You Thinking What I’m Thinking’ both in terms of musicianship and growing from teenagers into young women. It precedes their new album ‘Release Me’, due out in August.
The band have also today uploaded a special acoustic session, recorded before their recent sold out headline show at London’s Old Blue Last. As well as playing He’s Not a Boy, they cover The Shirelles’ ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’ with bassist Laena showing off her violin skills.
